Darecup is a utility for Dameware Users. It installs a protocol handler so you can use links on webpages to directly start remote control sessions.
By using the rc:// protocol handler you can use or create forms that can automatically start the Dameware Remote Control protocol.

gp-update.exe is een grafische schil rond de gpupdate.exe executable die word meegeleverd met Windows XP/2003 om handmatig de Group Policy te kunnen updaten. De mogelijke parameters zijn als optie te selecteren.

 

gp-update .exe is a GUI / wrapper for the gpupdate.exe executable which comes standard with Windows XP/2003 to manually do a Group Policy update. The possible parameters are selectable through the GUI.

So you installed IE7 and found your telnet:// urls no longer working ? Or do you just want to use putty as your default telnet client ?

No longer do you have to putup with issues like this because you just found putup. Putup is the Putty URL Protocol Handler. now you can use the more advanced putty:// url instead of the basic telnet:// url.

Ever wanted to start a remote desktop connection from a webpage ? Sure...

Well, now you can.

Run redcup and it will automatically detect if installed and if not provide you with the choice to do so.

When installed run redcup /help from the installation directory or type rdp://help in your browser.
Redcup provides an interface between your favourite browser and the Remote Desktop Connection Client.
All relevant parameters are supported and webform compliant. (e.g. &console=console style)

Darecup installs a new URL protocol handler in the registry (HKCR\rdp) wich makes it possible for your browser to understand the rdp://machine url. See the help for supported parametersl

Shut Up - Shutdown Timerhot!

Eenvoudig programmatje van eigen makelij wat het mogelijk maakt om je computer op een later tijdstip uit te zetten. Erg handig als je nog taken hebt lopen zoals DVD branden, downloaden,of met bijv. pinnacle studio je homevideo's tot DVD compileert, wat meestal wel een paar uur kan duren.

In tegenstelling tot de meeste soortgelijke programma's waar je een tijd op moet geven wanneer de shutdown moet plaatsvinden moet je hier het aantal minuten in te voeren dat gewacht moet worden met shutdown, een net even andere benadering waardoor het voor sommigen een aantrekkelijk alternatief zal worden.

Update 25-10-2007 : Nieuwe versie met "veilige modus" voor veilige shutdown.
Update 2-10-2008 : Nieuwe versie met automatisch sluitende bevestigingsvensters met (5 sec. timeout)

TouchTV Live TV Playerhot!

Inspired by the Ziggo Live Player, I've decided to apply the concept to a touchscreen enabled Graphical User Interface. You can still use a mouse of course, and you can also use a number of keyboard shortcuts. New in this version are the volume and channel switch buttons as well as the possibility to open media files or standard URL's. Since it's a work in progres, make sure you check back regularly to get the latest version.
